Filipino basketball sensation Kobe Paras attended his first Gilas Cadets practice Monday evening at the Meralco Gym in Pasig City in preparation for the 2018 Filoil Flying V Premiere Cup.

Paras, who arrived from the United States on Monday morning, reunited with former La Salle Greenhills teammates, Ricci and Prince Rivero.

Paras and the Rivero brothers join Lyceum's CJ Perez, UP's Will Gozum and Juan Gomez de Liaño, FEU's Arvin Tolentino and Kenneth Tuffin, San Beda's Javee Mocon, Letran's Jeo Ambohot, Abu Tratter, and Vince Tolentino.

J-Jay Alejandro did not participate in the drills. Alejandro is sidelined with a right ankle sprain and will be out for two weeks.

NLEX rookie and Gilas Pilipinas guard Kiefer Ravena visited to show his support.

"It's nice to watch the future of Gilas Pilipinas," Ravena said.

Gilas Cadets will kick off their campaign against the Ateneo Blue Eagles on Saturday, April 21, at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
