The Louisville Cardinals picked up a commitment from ESPN 300 quarterback Jawon Pass on Thursday afternoon. The ninth-ranked dual-threat quarterback and the 186th-ranked player overall chose Louisville over Auburn and Alabama at a newsconference at Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia.

In the last two weeks, Auburn picked up a commitment from four-star quarterback Woody Barrett and Alabama landed fellow ESPN 300 signal caller Jalen Hurts. In all, 10 of the 14 SEC teams now have a quarterback committed for 2016.

Thirty of the nation's top quarterbacks were in Los Angeles this past weekend for the inaugural Elite 11 Semifinals. Eight of the signal-callers had already punched their tickets to the Elite 11 Finals, to be held July 5-10 at Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, but that number ballooned to 12 following the three-day semifinals.
