Junior bantamweight world titleholder Jerwin Ancajas (30-1-1, 20 KOs), 26, of the Philippines, is scheduled to make his sixth defense in the main event of the Top Rank Boxing on ESPN+ card on Sept. 29 at a site to be determined in California. On Friday, Ancajas adviser Sean Gibbons told ESPN that Ancajas’ opponent will be Alejandro Santiago Barrios (16-2-4, 7 KOs), 22, of Mexico, who is coming off a 10-round split draw against Jose Martinez on March 24.
