Epic Games will launch a six-week Fortnite tournament series in the coming weeks, called the Fall Skirmish, which will feature a $10 million prize pool, according to a tweet by Epic on Monday. Specific dates for the tournament were not announced at this time. The series is a follow-up to a previous $10 million, eight-week tournament — dubbed the Fortnite Summer Skirmish — which concluded at PAX West on Sept. 3. With the launch of the series, YouTube influencer Daniel "Keemstar" Keem cancelled his previous plans to bring back Friday Fortnite, an amateur tournament which he hosted, due to event overlap with the Epic-sponsored events.
