Junior lightweight titlist Miguel Berchelt and mandatory challenger Miguel “Mickey” Roman, who will fight Nov. 3 in the main event of a Top Rank Boxing on ESPN+ card, now has a site. The fight will take place at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas, Top Rank vice president Carl Moretti told ESPN on Monday. “It’s close to Ciudad Juarez (Roman’s hometown) and it’s an all-Mexico fight, so El Paso made a lot of sense,” Moretti said. Berchelt (34-1, 30 KOs), 26, will be making the fourth defense of his 130-pound world title when he faces Roman (60-12, 47 KOs), 32, who has won four fights in a row and had two previous title shots but lost. There will be a press conference to formally announce the fight on Saturday in Las Vegas, where much of the boxing media will be for that night’s Gennady Golovkin-Canelo Alvarez rematch.
