Junior welterweight Jack Catterall (23-0, 12 KOs) outpointed Ohara Davies (18-2, 14 KOs) in the all-British fight that headlined the Frank Warren-promoted card that streamed on ESPN+ from Leicester Arena in Leicester, England, on Saturday. Catterall won 118-110, 115-113 and 115-113 in a fight that lacked any serious action. Also on the card, top British heavyweight prospect Daniel Dubois (9-0, 8 KOs) was forced to go the distance for the first time in a 100-91 rout of American Kevin Johnson (32-11-1, 16 KOs), a faded former world title challenger, in a sleep-inducing fight. In another undercard bout, Great Britain’s two-time Olympic gold medalist Nicola Adams (5-0, 3 KOs) won a vacant women’s interim flyweight title against Mexico’s Isabel Millan (22-5-1, 8 KOs) by scores of 97-93, 97-93 and 96-92.
