SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Noah Horchler poured in 31 points as five players scored 13 or better in North Florida's 100-80 defeat of South Carolina Upstate Saturday.
Horchler made 10 of 16 shots, both 3-point attempts, converted 9 of 10 at the line and pulled down 13 rebounds for North Florida (9-13, 3-2 Atlantic Sun).
Trip Day and Garrett Sams each scored 19 points, J.T. Escobar added 15 and Ivan Rosa-Gandia 13 for the Ospreys, who shot 53 percent from the floor (32 of 61) and made 14 of 28 from behind the 3-point arc. North Florida converted 22 of 25 at the foul line to just 8 of 11 for USC Upstate.
North Florida came in ranked third in the nation in 3-pointers made, and now has 13 games with more than 10 treys.
