The UP Fighting Maroons continue to impress in the 2019 Buddha's Light International Association (BLIA) Cup, notching their third straight win at the expense of the National Kaohsiung Normal University, 97-67, on Thursday in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Led by Javi Gomez de Liaño, the Fighting Maroons uncorked 32 points in the third quarter to blow the game wide open. They also went to work on the defensive end, limiting their opponent to just 17 points. Gomez De Liaño scored 10 of his team-high 25 points in the period. UP remains unscathed after three games and will look for its fourth consecutive win versus National Taiwan Normal University on Friday.
