Thomas Torres will be sidelined for at least six weeks and Rain or Shine big man Norbert Torres will be out for at least a week due to the injuries they sustained from an altercation early Sunday morning at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.

The pair, along with Jeron Teng, all suffered stab wounds during the incident with three other men.

Charlie Dy, Thomas Torres' agent, told ESPN5 that the young guard had deep wounds in both arms and another by his chest.

"The muscles in his triceps that were torn need to heal, so it will take time," Dy said.

Norbert Torres, who had 11 stitches in his left arm, has been released from the hospital after receiving treatment at the St. Luke's Medical Center in Global City, according to his agent Marvin Espiritu.

Teng, on the other hand, suffered more serious wounds similar to those of Thomas Torres. He received medical attention but remains in the hospital and is still being evaluated by doctors.

The 6-foot-7 Torres will miss Rain or Shine's game this Friday against winless Blackwater at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The Elasto Painters are tied at the top of the standings with the TNT Katropa with 6-1 records.
