Roosevelt Adams and Sean Manganti headline nine Fil-foreigners aspiring to get selected in the 2019 PBA Draft on December 8.
Adams, a 6-foot-5 guard, made a name for himself as a reliable sharpshooter who dived into numerous tournaments with Mighty Sports abroad and with Go for Gold in the PBA D-League.
Manganti, on the other hand, starred as a versatile wingman with Adamson in the UAAP before taking his act to Che'lu Bar and Grill in the D-League and to the Bataan Risers in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).
The two are projected to be drafted in the first round as seven other Fil-foreign players aim to break into the league.
Guard Franky Johnson, who has seen action for Gamboa Coffee Mix, Marinerong Pilipino and AMA Education in the developmental league, also made himself available for the draft, while a pair of Ateneo standouts in Vince Tolentino and Adrian Wong also look to get picked in the annual selection.
Rounding out the list are former National University center Troy Rike, who has recently played in the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3; former AMA player Jason Riley; University of Perpetual's Daryl Singontiko; and 37-year-old Mark Taylor.
