The PBA on Tuesday released its official schedule for the resumption of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup in Clark, Pampanga.
TNT, now known as the Tropang Giga, will open its season -- and the bubble tournament -- when it takes on the Alaska Aces on Oct. 11 at 4 p.m., while 2019 Governors' Cup champions Barangay Ginebra will begin its quest for a second consecutive title by facing the NLEX Road Warriors in the second game at 6:45 p.m.
Action won't stop as more games will be played Monday, when Phoenix Super LPG takes on the Meralco Bolts at 4 p.m. Blackwater and NorthPort will make their respective conference debuts in the second game.
Reigning five-time titlists San Miguel Beermen, holding a 1-0 slate after winning its first game of the year against Magnolia shortly before the season was suspended last March, won't play until Tuesday, when they will face Rain or Shine in the first match of the day. Terrafirma will then open its season against TNT at 6:45 p.m.
The Hotshots (0-1), on the other hand, don't have a game scheduled until Wednesday. They will play NLEX in the second game of the day, right after NorthPort and Phoenix butt heads at 4 p.m.
The elimination round will run for exactly 32 days and will wrap up on Nov. 11. Games are played daily, and a triple-header is squeezed in between as Blackwater, Terra Firma, Meralco, TNT, Rain or Shine and Phoenix take the floor on Oct. 31.
All games will be shown live on ONE Sports and PBA Rush with livestream on ESPN5.com. Games on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays will be simulcast on TV5.
