San Miguel superstar June Mar Fajardo finally hit the court and joined the rest of the Beermen in the team's return to scrimmages Friday in Batangas City.
In a video released by the PBA, the six-time Most Valuable Player was seen working in the post with SMB coaches at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum.
Team manager Gee Abanilla said Fajardo is progressing well, even though he is still under careful observation on a day-to-day basis.

"June Mar is getting better and stronger by the day, yet we are still taking it one day at a time. He is still closely monitored by our physical therapist, but he looks fine," he shared in a text message.
Last May 8, head coach Leo Austria said the 6-foot-10 center, who underwent a minor procedure last December to clean up some infection on his right shin, had already been doing on-court drills before the April lockdown.
The 31-year-old Fajardo is on track to join SMB in the 2021 season after missing last year's Philippine Cup to recover from that right leg injury. In his absence, San Miguel's five-season reign as All-Filipino champions came to a close.
Only CJ Perez and Mo Tautuaa are absent for the Beermen in Batangas due to their ongoing preparation with the Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 team for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Graz, Austria later this month.
The Beermen also brought in free agents for their build-up, though team officials refused to provide any names.
"I cannot disclose this yet. We are still assessing," Abanilla said.
Alaska, Rain or Shine and Phoenix also practiced in the same venue on Friday, while Blackwater resumed sessions over at the Lyceum of the Philippines University - Batangas gym.
