The 10-rounder headlines a Top Rank Boxing on ESPN+ card at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Valdez (26-0, 20 KOs), 28, of Mexico, vacated his world title to move up in weight. "Gutierrez is a strong kid, comes to fight and he has a lot of endurance," Espinoza said. "He'll be there and in front of Oscar all night. We want to see how Oscar feels at 130 pounds and then go from there." Gutierrez (38-2-1, 25 KOs), 26, of Mexico, has won three fights in a row since a 10th-round technical decision loss to Abner Mares in a featherweight world title bout.
