LSU quarterback Joe Burrow won the 2019 Heisman Trophy by the largest vote margin in the history of the award.
It's clear why. He ranked second in FBS with 4,715 passing yards, led the country with 48 passing touchdowns, ran for 289 yards and three more scores, and helped propel LSU to the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff.
Burrow's performance on the field earned him many congratulatory tweets from his football peers, including the New Orleans Saints' Drew Brees and Michael Thomas, and former Heisman winners Mark Ingram and Eddie George, among others.
