The football world is awash with gossip! Transfer Talk is monitoring the whispers ahead of all the summer moves. Check out the latest deals and potential deals here.
Man United name their De Gea price
Jose Mourinho is willing to sell Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea to Real Madrid -- but for a fee of £80 million, according to the Daily Mail.
The European champions are expected to make an opening offer of £40 million, but with De Gea tied to a long-term contract and unwilling to force a move, United are very much in control of the situation and will do business only if they are confident about finding a replacement of similar standing.
Alvaro Morata, Raphael Varane and even James Rodriguez could be used as leverage in the deal, while it is also claimed that Real could turn to Thibaut Courtois if a move for De Gea becomes too tricky to negotiate.
Bellerin and Szczesny to leave Arsenal?
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have dominated the headlines, but they might not be the only players set to leave Arsenal this summer, with Hector Bellerin and Wojciech Szczesny both attracting interest from major European sides.
Marca reports that Bellerin is a €50 million target for Barcelona, but Arsene Wenger's contract renewal complicates things, with the Spain international full-back loyal to the man who gave him his chance.
Meanwhile, Juventus are lining up Szczesny as Gianluigi Buffon's long-term replacement, the Daily Mail claims.
Buffon, 39, is expected to retire following the 2018 World Cup, and Juve want to bring in £14 million-rated Szczesny after being impressed by his displays during two years on loan at Roma. The Poland international is entering the final year of his Arsenal contract but is unlikely to oust Petr Cech.
Setbacks for Man City
Pep Guardiola's summer shake-up at Manchester City has been slowed temporarily after Monaco rejected an offer for full-back Benjamin Mendy.
The Telegraph says the French champions will not sell for less than £40 million, though they are willing to do business if their valuation is met. The same report adds that City will also look to add Kyle Walker to their squad but are put off by Tottenham's £50 million asking price.
Elsewhere, the Mail claims that Nolito could be offloaded after just one season in the Premier League, with Sevilla keen on agreeing to a loan deal plus an option to buy permanently. He could be followed out of City by Eliaquim Mangala, who is a target for Newcastle.
-- Ander Herrera is again the subject of interest from La Liga, the Mirror claims, with Manchester United rejecting an offer from Valencia for the midfielder. Herrera was linked with Barcelona earlier in the week, and Valencia were said to be willing to pay £30 million for his services, but United have no intention of selling.
-- Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, a reported target for Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund, is in talks about a move to AC Milan, according to Sky Sports. The 20-year-old was a central figure as Celtic completed a domestic Treble and went unbeaten all campaign in Scotland, but his time at the club could be brief, with major sides now keen to snap him up.
-- Rafael Benitez has big plans and an extensive list of transfer targets for Newcastle following their return to the Premier League. The Mirror reports that Kieran Gibbs, Tammy Abraham, Andre Gray, Ruben Semedo and Kamil Grosicki all feature on Benitez's wanted list, with a £15 million deal for Arsenal's Gibbs in the offing.
