Toby Alderweireld to Barcelona

Barcelona will look to bolster their defensive options with a January move for Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld, according to the Mirror. The Belgium international has been identified as a prime target by the La Liga champions, who are searching for an alternative to Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt after it emerged that a January deal for the Dutch youngster would be "impossible."

Garry Rodrigues to Newcastle

Newcastle want to bring Galatasaray winger Garry Rodrigues to St James' Park, according to Turkish publication Hurriyet. The Cape Verde international, 27, has been put on the transfer list by Galatasaray, and has also attracted interest from La Liga clubs Villarreal and Valencia. A bid of £20m could be enough for Newcastle to secure his transfer in the upcoming window.

Edin Dzeko to Southampton

A number of Premier League clubs, including Southampton, are hopeful of bringing Roma striker Edin Dzeko back to the Premier League, the Mirror have reported. The former Manchester City forward, 32, scored 72 goals and won two Premier League titles during his time in England. Southampton, Crystal Palace and Cardiff are all reported to be interested, having been informed of Dzeko's willingness to move back to the Premier League. "It's probably too late for me to return to the Premier League, but you never know: we'll see," the Bosnian said.

Sandro Tonali to Chelsea

Chelsea are willing to part with over €20m to secure the signing of Sandro Tonali, according to Calciomercato. Maurizio Sarri is reported to be an admirer of the 18-year-old Brescia midfielder, and is determined to secure his signature. But the Blues are not alone in their interest. Juventus, Roma and both Milan clubs are reportedly monitoring Tonali. Brescia rejected Chelsea's bids for the teenager in the summer, but it does not appear to have deterred them.

Lorenzo Insigne to Liverpool

Rai Sport report Liverpool are interested in Napoli's Lorenzo Insigne, and could be planning a move for the Italy international next summer. Talk of a potential transfer comes just two weeks after the diminutive forward scored a last-minute winner against Jurgen Klopp's side in the Champions League. The German coach is reportedly a fan of Insigne, who has scored six goals already so far this season.
