Ayr sealed a place in the Scottish Championship play-off final after a 6-2 aggregate victory over Peterhead.
Leading 4-1 from the first leg, Ayr extended their advantage in the 26th minute courtesy of a fine finish from Robbie Crawford.
Peterhead, on the back of a seven-game losing streak, levelled five minutes later through an own goal from Michael Donald.
The home side restored their lead in the 57th minute, skipper Nicky Devlin heading in a Ross Docherty corner.
