Real Sociedad recovered from the disappointment of defeat to Basque rivals Athletic Bilbao last weekend to see off another local rival, Alaves, 3-0 at Estadio Anoeta.
Eusebio Sacristan's men were well on top as they claimed a third straight home win in LaLiga.
Xabi Prieto headed his first goal of the season midway through the first half and Willian Jose added a smart second before Carlos Vela's 87th-minute effort rounded off the scoring.
The 3-2 defeat to Athletic could have left Sociedad disheartened but they got the breakthrough in the 22nd minute as Carlos Martinez crossed from the right and Prieto got ahead of Moroccan defender Zouhair Feddal to nod in at the near post.
Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli got down well to block a shot from Edgar as the half-hour mark approached, but that was as close as Alaves came.
The game was wrapped up 12 minutes into the second half when Raul Navas' ball into the box found Willian Jose. The Brazilian's first touch took him away from Feddal and he clipped the ball over advancing Alaves goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco to take the game beyond the visitors.
Mikel Oyarzabal tested Pacheco with an angled shot after a burst forward by Yuri in the 62nd minute, and Vela fired high over the top midway through the second period after some good build-up work.
Alaves enjoyed more territory in the final quarter of an hour but La Real added further gloss to the victory when Oyarzabal was released down the left and his searching cross to the far post was volleyed in at close range by Mexican forward Vela.
Edgar and Navas exchanged blows late on but both escaped a dismissal.
