Hartlepool moved five points clear of the National League relegation zone with a 2-1 win against play-off chasing Bromley.
Josh Hawkes and Michael Woods scored for the hosts as Pools recorded back-to-back victories for the first time since October.
Hawkes, 19, marked his full debut by opening the scoring after 10 minutes when his deflected strike looped over visiting goalkeeper David Gregory.
Bromley levelled in first-half stoppage time when Josh Rees turned the ball in from a corner.
But the home side took all three points when Devante Rodney's knockdown fell for Woods to slot in his ninth goal of the campaign.
