OGDEN, Utah -- — Michal Kozak scored the winning point from the free throw line with 0.7 seconds on the clock as Weber State edged Northern Colorado 60-59 Thursday night.
Weber State had just knotted the score 59-59 on a pair of Isaiah Brown free throws with nine seconds left and the game appeared headed to overtime after Northern Colorado's Matt Johnson missed a jump shot, which was rebounded by Kozak.
But Northern Colorado's Daylen Kountz was whistled for a reaching foul with less than a second left. Kozak made the first, missed the second, finishing with five points and six boards.
