Sources have told ESPN that Rodgers is so disgruntled with the organization that he's considering the unthinkable -- leaving Green Bay. Rodgers, 37, is still under contract with the Packers, so they'd have to agree to trade him, and by the looks of it they don't want to do that. Rodgers remains one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, with three MVP awards, nine Pro Bowl selections, and a Super Bowl title and MVP award under his belt. He'd instantly make any NFL team a contender, but his price would be steep, and that's assuming he doesn't come to some kind of understanding with the Packers in the meantime -- or decide to retire and perhaps pursue hosting "Jeopardy!" full time.
It's an evolving situation and anything could happen, so here's the latest news and rumors on this potentially league-altering story from our NFL reporters and experts.

When Rodgers said last May "my sincere desire to start and finish with the same organization... may not be a reality," seemed he was putting on the onus on the GBP to re-commit to him.— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) April 29, 2021
Sounds like he doesn't even want that anymore.

While certain teams have reached out to the Packers to inquire about Aaron Rodgers this off-season, no team has made a trade offer for him, per source.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 29, 2021
There never has been an NFL MVP traded after winning the award in the previous season. The only MVPs not to return to their team in the season after winning the award were Norm Van Brocklin (retired after winning MVP in 1960) and Jim Brown (retired after winning MVP in 1965). https://t.co/hH8kZfuI0A— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 29, 2021
