Filipina golfer Yuka Saso dropped to solo third after a 1-under-par 71 showing in round 3 of the LPGA's Lotte Championship on Saturday at the Kapolei Golf Club in Hawaii.
A disappointing front nine saw Saso drop four bogeys with only three birdies. The 19-year old Filipina did clean up her game in the back nine where she birdied two holes.
New Zealand's Lydia Ko continued her strong play throughout the competition, finishing the third round 7-under 65 to steal solo first place. American Nelly Korda hopped to second with a 9-under 63 after the third day.
Ko leads the pack after round 3 with -21, while Korda and Saso follow with -20 and -17, respectively.
Saso set the Lotte Championship scoring record after two rounds of the competition, but will look to redeem herself after a dip in the third round.
The fourth and final round of the Lotte Championship will be played on Sunday Philippine time.
